Saturday November 21st is our PBC Singles mission project. We are helping box food orders and distribute them to waiting families, and delivering other boxed orders, through our PBC Manna Food ministry. If you want to purchase a regular box for someone you can pick up your menu/order form in the main office Bldg. B (enter at B2 entrance). This months boxes have a Thanksgiving emphasis, so think about who you might bless with a regular box ($29) this month. Order forms are due in the office this Friday November 6th by 5pm

Angel Gifts Card Pick-up – Sunday November 15 & 22 Main Hall Bldg A  following both morning services. Help purchase gifts for children in apartment ministry or LEAF ministry by picking up a card with a child’s name on it. Age and size information will be on cards. Great local missions opportunity.

Nehemiah 9:5b says, “Stand up and bless the Lord your God from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.”       How long will God be God? From everlasting to everlasting. How long should we stand and bless Him?  From everlasting to everlasting. What is it that “ails” you in these days? Stand up and bless His name! Are you sitting on your “blessed assurance”? Stand up and bless His name! He is worthy! Stand up and bless His name!

 

Hey All, David Preston here, telling you Iam pretty excited about the pbcsingles blog! This will be a place of connecting and “centering”. No guys, not hiking the football!? When I say “centering” I think of Revelation 7:17, “For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to streams of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eye.” Jesus is our Shepherd. He will lead us. But first, He must be the center of the throne of our lives. Let’s be about connecting people, and also about centering them. Look forward to hearing/seeing from you all. DP
